Returns / Credit
Note / Refund Policy
- All sales are considered firm (non-returnable) and no returned goods will be accepted unless pre-arranged prior to the sale taking place and subject to management discretion. Drivers and other staff may not collect goods from clients without pre-approval.
- Special offers are not subject to any further discount and may not be used in conjunction with any other special offer or discount.
- No refund will be allowed on goods accepted for return and they will have to be exchanged for a credit note (no expiry date) or goods to the same value. Returned goods must be unmarked and in a completely re-sellable condition. No delivery / postage / packaging charges will be credited.
- The following goods will not be accepted for return under any circumstance unless due to an error on the part of Caxton Books: study guides, syllabus specific textbooks / workbooks (it specifically states a grade on the textbook / workbook), photocopiable material, goods not normally stocked by Caxton Books but ordered for clients and special offers.
- Proof of purchase must be provided for all returns and no goods will be accepted for return / exchange or credit once thirty days from the date of sale has elapsed.
- Goods purchased through the back-to-school program may be exchanged for a credit note or goods to the same value within ten days of receipt of goods (subject to all conditions above).
- Children moving schools will have the option of a refund less a ten percent handling fee (handling fee maximum R50.00) and written proof of the school transfer must be provided.
- Where any terms and conditions are contrary to applicable South African legislation, the applicable legislation will prevail.

Deliveries
Agreements of
